eMoksha is a volunteer-driven organization. Below are few of our key contributors and collaborators.

Selvam Velmurugan is the founder of eMoksha. He is an internet technologist with more than 12 years of experience in building and managing distributed web-scale systems. Over the past decade, he has been part of several non-profit initiatives, including core member of the Tsunami Relief team at Amazon collecting over $15 million in relief funds. Selvam holds an MS in CS from University of Georgia and BS in CS from College of Engineering, Guindy. He also holds a Diploma in Film-making from University of Washington. Recently he was elected as a CIS India Fellow for his work in the areas of civic transparency and engagement.

Sudha Nair is a technical writer by profession and a social activist by passion. She currently works as a Project Manager for eMoksha and is responsible for launching Kiirti, a one-stop reporting and engagement platform designed to empower citizens and NGOs in India.

Ian Pye is a graduate student at Univeristy of California, Santa Cruz. He is currently working on the WikiTrust project at UC. WikiTrust is developing open-source software which computes the origin and author of every word of a wiki, as well as a measure of text trust that indicates the extent with which text has been revised. In addition to online collaboration, Ian is interested in issues of reliability in crowd sourced information.

Shanmugam Sriraman is one of the first volunteers for eMoksha.org. He helped launch FixOurCity Chennai and organize the first iDemocracyCamp in Chennai. He is a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon.com and in his spare time focuses on honing his photography skills.

Anant Trivedi is a retired IT and engineering professional, member of the British Computer Society and a chartered engineer. Founder member of National Network For India, acting as their strategist. Also a founder member of VoteSmartIndia and Get Together For India.

Gaurav Mishra leads research on internet and society in emerging countries as the 2008-09 Yahoo! Fellow at Georgetown University. He writes about social media and social change at Gauravonomics.

Kaushal Jhalla Kaushal Jhalla is a co-founder of Swift, and is a volunteer at Ushahidi. In his daylife, he is a Systems Analayst for Payment and Transaction systems in the SF Bay Area. He blogs at citizenafrica.com.

Munish Sivagurunath is the founder of Imayam Inc, a technology consulting company. He is also a founding board member of Nia - A Ray of Hope, a non-profit organization with a mission to empower women in developing countries to pursue their higher education.
